Hello!  My name is Dane, I am a co-director of Discover Bible Class, our Bible Study correspondence school.  We offer this correspondence school to all those who would like to know what the Bible teaches. There are 26 lessons on as many topics. Each lesson consists of a small booklet and an answer sheet with true/false style questions. The student mails in the answer sheet in a school-supplied pre-addressed envelope. When the answer sheet is received at the school, the student is assigned a grader who will work with them throughout the course. The answer sheet is graded and mailed back to the student with the next lesson booklet and answer sheet. Each lesson is designed to take up no more than 10 minutes of the student's time.

I took the course myself in 1995 and have been associated with the school for eleven years.  The most exciting thing about DBS is when a new student graduates. Many times they go on to other lessons we offer, sometimes they become church members, but whatever happens, I feel like I have made a new friend.

This is a rewarding ministry opportunity. Please consider coming and working with us. We meet at 10:30 AM on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month. We are located in the Keystone room of the Takoma Park SDA Church Center at 6810 Eastern Avenue NW, Washington DC 20012.
